Basis of the model
This revision follows your latest brief. The structure is 1.00 m shorter: 249 m from the start of the bridge to the centre of the transition platform — the first 18 m falls 0.50 m from +2.50 to +2.00, then 226 m level at +2.00 — then 20° to the north through the 5.00 × 5.00 m transition platform and 43.50 m on the second span to a new 8.00 × 8.00 m viewing platform, 50 m from the transition platform, level +2.00. From the new platform seaward there is nothing: the rest of the old second span, the aluminium gangway, the floating dock and the yacht are removed.
Water depths are set exactly as given: 0.50 m from 20 m after the start of the bridge up to the transition platform, 0.75 m along the 50 m from the transition platform to the new platform, and 1.00 m at the new platform. The raised sand shelf under the mangroves is gone, so the depths read true under the deck.
Golf-car parking: the transition platform is extended 2.00 m on its right-hand side, giving a 2.00 × 5.00 m bay with its own posts, edge girders, kerb, wheel stop and painted lines — with the golf car parked on it. Railing runs round the three open sides of the bay.
Mangroves now run from the beginning of the bridge up to 40 m before the transition platform, growing straight out of the 0.50 m tidal flat.
New viewing platform: 8.00 × 8.00 m for recreation, with a bathing ladder on the side (two stringers, handrails 1.00 m above the deck, opening in the rail), benches, a timber shade pergola with louvres, and every safety item: railing all round, two lifebuoys, a fire extinguisher and green and red navigation beacons lit 2 s and dark 3 s, alternating.
Boardwalk to the villa entrance: the timber deck is extended from the bridge head to the door of the middle villa, as flooring only — planks, edge beams and bearers, no balusters and no rope, level +2.50, straight through the gate in the estate fence.
The rest is as built before: 2.20 m wide deck, 1.80 m clear between balusters, Ø120 balusters at 2.00 m with two abaca ropes, bents every 4.00 m on built-up 2 × 80 × 200 posts on Ø600 footings, in-ground deck lights every 2.00 m, the beach walk and the three villas at +2.50 m, and the villas, gardens and pools on their plots behind the fence.
Modelled as noted: the deck levels of the two spans are +2.00 and the ramps are placed where you located them; the golf car is a model, not a specified make; the pergola and benches on the new platform are indicative. Say the word and any of these follow your figures.
